Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to anyone who uses the Services provided by TechBuilders LLC (“ReviewFire”). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

1. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Send messages in violation of CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR ePrivacy, or other anti-spam or telemarketing laws.
  • Send SMS or email to recipients who have not given valid consent, or to numbers on government-maintained do-not-contact lists.
  • Engage in “review gating” — selectively requesting reviews based on customer satisfaction in violation of the FTC’s Endorsement Guides or platform policies (Google, Yelp, etc.).
  • Generate, solicit, or post fake, fabricated, paid-for, or otherwise deceptive reviews.
  • Misrepresent the source of a review or impersonate a real customer.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls, authentication, or access systems you are not authorized to use.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services beyond rates the API documentation expressly permits.
  • Use the Services to build a competing product or to resell capacity without our written consent.
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the Services or its users.
  • Process personal information of EU/UK residents without a lawful basis under GDPR, or process PHI without a Business Associate Agreement where HIPAA applies.

2. Review-Platform Compliance

When you connect Google Business Profile, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, Apple Maps, or any similar platform, you remain solely responsible for compliance with that platform’s terms, guidelines, and review policies. ReviewFire’s features (including smart routing and templates) are tools — you control how they are used. Do not use them in any way that violates the originating platform’s rules.

3. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is using the Services in violation of this AUP, contact [email protected] with details and we will investigate.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may, at our discretion, warn the user, suspend access, terminate the account, remove content, notify law enforcement, or take any other action permitted by law or our Terms.
